The Educational Guidance and Psychological Care Center at the University of Basrah continues its voluntary guidance campaign in the holy land of Karbala prior to the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
Regarding the services provided by the center, Dr. Hana Sadiq Al-Badran, the center’s director, said, “The voluntary teams affiliated with the center continue to provide their guidance and educational services to visitors and owners of Hussaini processions spread at the entrances to the city. The center’s services include urging visitors to abide by the rules of good morals and to renounce the abusive habits of the rites of the blessed visit through advice and guidance, including maintaining prayer, and leaving aspects of amusement that do not fit the occasion of grief, as well as providing food and drinks to visitors.
