A scientific study was researched in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science at Basra University, prepared by the instructor, Anfas Nima Akash, with the participation of a number of researchers.

Classified within Scopus containers Q3 suitable for the environment in the Shatt al-Arab for this marine type after the change in the water and the increase in salinity, which was recorded in the eighties of the last century on the coasts of the Arabian Gulf.
The study included estimating the densities of the aforementioned species during the months of the study.
The results of the study concluded that changing environmental conditions and rising salt tides had led to the entry of many marine species into the Shatt al-Arab environment.
