The College of Science/Department of Ecology at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on wetlands and how to use them to treat wastewater using biofilm-carrier elements and Lemna minor.
The seminar, which was attended by the postgraduate / master's student (Baneen Hussein Zaboon), aimed to compare the performance of the wetland system in the case of the presence of plants and the bearing elements of biofilms and gravel and in their absence, with a comparison of plant growth in the case of the presence of the bearing elements of the biofilms and in the absence of them.
