University of Basrah held the first conference for the unified examinations for the colleges of the medical group, the College of Medicine and Dentistry, the College of Al-Zahraa Medicine , the College of Pharmacy and the College of Nursing under the mantra "Reality and Ambition".
The conference included three main points. The scientific point discussed the ministry’s goal and the college’s viewpoint on the importance of its effectiveness, the type of questions, the suitability of questions to curriculums, student results, and the college’s plan to obtain better results, develop the examination performance, and statistics, including success rates.
The technical and logistical point dealt with the examination platform, the electronic correction device, the accuracy of timings, electronic correspondence, the confidentiality of questions, the methods of electronic correction, and their compatibility with other colleges.
And the analysis point, which dealt with the evaluation of students and the specialized academic teaching personnel from the staff , from outsiders and retirees in the entire experience.
The conference aims to present a comprehensive study by collecting the results of questionnaires with differing opinions about the acceptance or rejection of assessment unified examinations by students and academic teachers, and to evaluate this experience and correct its course In the coming years.
The conference recommended choosing the best direction from among the opinions through questionnaires submitted to students and teachers. And explaining the reasons for the failures that occurred In the of the unified assessment examination mechanism for the 2021-2022 academic year and the sudden entry of e-learning imposed by the Corona pandemic. With the expectations of the conference in the success of the unified assessment examinations with a success rate of 100% for the coming years.
