The Master's student, Fatima Kamel Juma'a, and assistant professor Dr. Faleh Mahdi Musa, the teaching member at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, published a research in (Electronics) journal, which is one of the journals affiliated with the International Publishing House (MDPI) and is classified within the containers of Clarivate with an impact factor (2.690) and Scopus (CiteScore=3.7).
The research, entitled: Design and implementation of a miniaturized filtering antenna for 5G mid-band applications, included the design and manufacture of a small-sized filtering antenna that works as a sharp middle-frequency filter in addition to the ability to electromagnetic radiation without the need to increase the size or cost. The main importance of this design is in its homogeneous electromagnetic radiation free from electromagnetic interference with the frequency beams for other applications adjacent to the fifth generation.
