On Wednesday morning, 9/28/2022, in the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, the research on the higher diploma entitled (Cloud computing and areas of investment in the library of the College of Arts, University of Basrah) was discussed.
The research presented by the student Ahmed Qassem Khalaf included four chapters. The first chapter discussed the general framework of the study ,the second chapter discussed (Introduction to Cloud Computing and Cloud Computing in Libraries),the third chapter dealt with the library unit in the College of Arts, University of Basrah, and the fourth chapter dealt with the results and recommendations.
The thesis aims to identify :
1. Identify the concept of cloud computing, its types, characteristics, benefits, cons and pros.
2. Identify the challenges facing the application of cloud computing technologies in the library of the College of the Arts University of Basrah.
3. Identify the information services in the library unit of the College of Arts, University of Basrah.
4. Familiarization with the infrastructure of the library unit of the College of Arts.
5. Identify the qualifications and expertise of the human resources working in the library unit of the College of Arts.
6. Identify the importance of cloud computing and ways to benefit from it in the provision of Information Services.
