On Thursday morning, 29/9/2022, in the Department of information and knowledge technologies at the College of Arts, University of Basrah a master thesis entitled (The effect of knowledge management on job performance: an applied study on the workers in the library and house of manuscripts of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine) was discussed.
The thesis presented by the student Yas Khudair Ali included four chapters. The first chapter included the general framework of the study , the second chapter discussed the theoretical aspect (cognitive rooting for knowledge management and job performance),the third chapter discussed the practical aspect, and the fourth chapter dealt with conclusions and recommendations.
The thesis aims to identify the extent of application of knowledge management processes in the library and house of manuscripts of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine.
The thesis concluded :
1. The employees of the organization in question are working to generate knowledge by relying on internal expertise, establishing knowledge alliances with other local organizations and supporting the creative ideas of employees.
2. The employees of the organization in question have high efficiency in performing the required tasks, and they have the ability to increase productivity at work, and the management’s feeling of satisfaction with the level of productivity at work.
