
The College of Dentistry University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled "Student's Guide in Educational Clinics and Control of Infection Transmission" to teach fourth and fifth stage students the regulations and instructions for entering the educational clinics.
The workshop included a lecture given by Dr. Ahmed Al-Momen, in which he explained with a detailed explanation of the student's guide, Including the procedures, instructions, and regulations that must be followed by students to enter educational clinics.
The Instructions emphasized during his lecture included the obligation to wear the lab coat, mask, the identification card, the medical gown and the head cap, sterilizing the tools before and after using them, preparing the case sheet, and dealing with the patient In a gentle and professional manner.
Al-Momen mentioned some prohibitions, warning students against following them, such as wearing jewelry, nail extensions, high heels, not eating meals Inside clinics, using mobile phones, and posting medical cases on social media.
Al-Momen considers that the students' failure to comply with the instructions and regulations will expose the student to a grade discount or expulsion by the supervising doctor. Participation certificates will be distributed to the participating students.
