The College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah organized a symposium on psychological and educational preparation for entering the new academic year.
The symposium included identifying the psychological pressures that lead to the causes of university failure and what steps should be taken to relieve them.
The symposium aimed to identify the differences between school life and university life, what the university achieved for us, the difference between a university professor and a teacher, in addition to the standards of the proper relationship between teachers and students and the relationship between female students.
The symposium recommended activating the role of the family in preparing its children for study and what are the ideas, beliefs and perceptions that the student must prepare psychologically for the start of the new academic year.
