The Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant. Professor Dr. Fateh Al-Khakani, attended the annual calendar conference which was held by the College of Engineering under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Professor. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hamadi and Professor. Dr. Ramzi Salem with the attendance of the college's staff.
The conference commenced with a speech from the dean of the college where he pointed out that the goals of the conference are to refine the scientific and administrative aspects, displaying the positive activities and comparing them with previous years, revealing the most prominent obstacles and how to overcome them, displaying the scientific and administrative aspects for the past two years starting with success rates, registering researches, posting them online, the activities of the academic teaching personnel and employees, completing curriculums, scientific activities, voluntary activities and the rights of the employees.
The conference dealt with two aspects : the scientific aspect presented by the Dean's Assistant in Scientific Affairs, Assistant. Professor Dr. Haider Moaad Muhammad, who gave a detailed explanation of the conference, which included a research approach in which a many of the positive scientific activities and the most important distinguished activities in the college were presented and compared with its achievements in the previous year for the sake of work to develop these positive things for the better.
The second aspect is the financial and administrative aspect, which was explained by the Dean's Assistant in Administrative Affairs, Assistant. Professor, Musab Adil Ali, where he gave a detailed explanation about the infrastructure, the financial, organizational, and service aspects, as well as to the most important field achievements of the college for the college building and its departments and Its development of green yards, halls and laboratories.
