A master's thesis at the College of Information Technology and Computer Science at the University of Basrah discussed the discovery of epilepsy from EEG recordings based on machine learning techniques.
The student, Karina Sarkis Ohanes, demonstrated the construction and design of effective hybrid systems for early detection of epileptic seizures through electroencephalogram (EEG) data using different machine learning algorithms to reduce the workload of doctors and the high cost of the disease.
