Al-Zahra College of Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on cardiopulmonary resuscitation in cooperation with the Basra Education Directorate and at the School of Gifted Students in Basra.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Firas Rasheed Sayel, Head of the Internal Medicine Branch, included how to save patients with sudden cardiac arrest by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The workshop aims to train citizens and introduce them to the methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which is one of the basics of first aid and which contributes to saving the lives of people with cardiac arrest, sudden death and drowning.
