Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the President of the University of Basrah, Karkh University of Science and Tech Academy for Development, Training and Studies, the Department of Scientific Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Basrah organizes, through the Yaqeen Scientific Platform, the #Second_Scientific_Olympiad for university students in the bachelor and master's stages in Iraq and the Arab world, in providing scientific, humanitarian, engineering and medical presentations during the current academic year 2022-2023.
The aim of the Olympiad is to give our students the opportunity to highlight their scientific talents and develop their moral courage and refine it to be a nucleus for their studies in the future in order to complete their scientific career in higher studies.
The competition will be by choosing the best in terms of PowerPoint design, smooth presentation, aesthetics of presentation and persuasion. There will be qualifiers among all students, and 20 students will be qualified to be selected by arbitration committees formed by professors from most Iraqi and Arab universities to move to the second and final round.
Submission conditions:
1. The applicant must be a student at one of the Iraqi or Arab universities, and he must show what supports that.
2. Presenting a PowerPoint presentation in the student's specialization, between 5-10 minutes.
There will be financial prizes for the first three winners of the undergraduate and master studies stages, who will be selected by the arbitrators after the second round, with valuable prizes that include free training courses and certificates of participation, thanks and appreciation, including the management and participants.
