The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah discussed a master’s thesis entitled (The Role of Governance in Developing the Performance of Al-Rafidain Bank, an exploratory study for the period 2018-2021).
The thesis of the researcher Zaid Ali Zahir aims to identify the extent of the application of banking governance in the Rafidain Bank, to determine the strengths of the Rafidain Bank as a result of the application of banking governance and to reveal the obstacles to the application of banking governance facing the Rafidain Bank.
The thesis recommended the need to pay more attention to the guiding principles of governance in Rafidain Bank and reduce administrative procedures that delay the speed of completion of transactions, and to expand its investments in the field of technology while delegating greater powers to the office of the delegate and managers.
