Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdul-Baqi Mahmoud, a master’s thesis discussion took place on Thursday 13/10/2022, with the blessing of God, which is tagged “Making a System for Pre-Diagnosing Stroke Using Machine Learning Networks and Deep Learning", the discussion was held in the postgraduate study halls at the college, presented by "Makarem Saad Atshan", a master's student in the Department of Computer Science, under the supervision of Dr. Zainab Najim Nemer, where the researcher relied on more than one database to diagnose the disease, including MRI images of the brain and another database represented by digital data of registered disease cases. Recognition and diagnosis were made to match the results with the actual ones using an artificial neural network (ANN), CNN bypass neural network plus Efficient NetB0. The results obtained compared to previous researches ranged between 94% and 99%. After extensive discussion by the committee in charge of the discussion and the defense of the student, the committee decided to accept the thesis with a very good and high grade.
