A master’s thesis at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, examined the duality of congruence and difference of personality in the contemporary Iraqi theatrical text - selected models. The thesis discussed the subject of the personality, which is one of those elements and the most important in the theatrical text.The thesis concluded that the characters presented by the writer (Abdul Karim al-Amri, Ali Abd al-Nabi al-Zaidi and Qasim Matroud) in the sample models are personalities with levels that differ from each other due to the distinction between these levels such as the social level, the psychological level, and the natural level.
