The first studies the mechanical properties: compressive strength, cleavage tensile strength, flexural strength, modulus of elasticity, and equilibrium density of lightweight concrete with or without iron fibres.
The second part consists of casting and checking seventeen beams with dimensions

The thesis aims to shed light on the bending behavior of reinforced beams of lightweight concrete with a circular longitudinal cavity with different types of iron fibers with variable volume ratios.
The thesis concluded that the maximum bearing capacity, cracking torque and maximum torque of the hollow lightweight beams containing low reinforcement ratio with iron fibers were improved, where the ratio of hooked iron fibers at the two ends was the appropriate ratio to compensate for the deficiency in the quantity of the main reinforcing iron
