The President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, inaugurated a new academic edifice represented by the new College of Arts building in the presence of the deans of the colleges, the university staff and the students of the college.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Majid Al Kaabi, said: Today, a new scientific and academic edifice of science and knowledge was inaugurated in the College of Arts building, which formed the first seed from which other university colleges emerged.
Prof. Dr. Majid added: Our new edifice is based on its old architecture, in the originality of its college and the depth of its foundation, as this college contributed to raising the scientific level of the university, as well as its contribution to graduating scientific generations to provide the community with various specializations.
The college students were promised in a model of halls that is the best and most elegant among other university halls
He thanked the President of the University for his exceptional efforts that culminated in the opening of this building after it was delayed for ten years ago.
