Assistant Professor Dr. Rafeef Abdel Hafez Al-Riyahi participated in a symposium on (Academic Advising and its Role in Raising the Educational Process)
The symposium included introducing academic counseling and that it is a basic and pivotal pillar in the educational system, and it is one of the important services that positively affect the student’s academic and professional development.
The main objective of the guidance is to help male and female students to choose the appropriate major according to their capabilities, scientific interests and the needs of the labor market, by preparing them and guiding them in choosing the appropriate courses according to the prepared plan. In the college, the counselor also educates the student about the academic difficulties that he may face, and how to prepare study plans and schedules.
