The instructor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Dr. Hussain Nasser Al-Salman, published a paper entitled (Formulation, Development and Characterization of Microspheres of Calcium Channel Blocker) in the Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Negative Results with 1.6 impact factor and within the third quarter of Scopus containers.
The research included a study using a new drug delivery technology, such as Nifedipine microspheres, where this study sought to increase the solubility of calcium channel blockers and used at room temperature to dissolve the predetermined weighted amount of nifedipine, ethylcellulose, “polyethylene oxide”, and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
