The President of Basrah University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, received the Council of Al-Kunooz University College, headed by its Dean, Dr. Osama Al-Abadi.
The visit aimed to expand cooperation frameworks in the scientific, cultural and social fields and to benefit from the expertise of the University of Basrah.
Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi stated that “we witnessed the great development of Al-Kunooz University College after the opening of twenty new departments, and the University of Basrah is ready to assign these universities that serve the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in many fields, including accommodating the increasing numbers of our high school graduates, and we will support them with loan, administration and teaching that they require need”.
Dr. Osama Al-Abadi mentioned that “we are honored to visit and belong to the mother university (Basrah University), and we have agreed to conclude a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the two universities in the near future”.
