The Studies and Planning Department, in cooperation with the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the University of Basrah, organized a workshop on the implementation of the salary settlement mechanism in the presence of the accounting, settlement and human resources officials in the financially independent university formations.
The workshop aims to prepare the concerned cadres and train them to use this new mechanism according to the instructions of the Ministry of Planning.
The workshop included a detailed explanation of the schedule for the salary settlement database, which contains the financial and administrative information of the university's employees, including employees and contracted employees, and will be submitted monthly to the Ministry of Planning.
The head of the salary settlement committee at the university, Muntadhar Jumaa Mahdi, stated that this mechanism will be approved in early December 2022, and that a number of workshops will be held before this.
