The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah held a workshop on the impact of religious extremism on peaceful coexistence in Iraq, ISIS as a model.
The workshop included clarifying the historical roots of religious extremism and the emergence of the terrorist organization ISIS in Iraq in 2014.
The workshop aimed to highlight the jihadist role and the role of the Iraqi government and people in confronting terrorist groups in Iraq and the emergence of the jihadist fatwa to confront ISIS.
