The College of Nursing at the University of Basrah organized a workshop for the second stage students on clinical skills for examining the respiratory system using simulated dolls.
The workshop included a lecture given by Dr. Ahmed Ziyara Khalaf, during which he explained the comprehensive examination of the respiratory system and the device using dolls in the Clinical Skills Laboratory. Training on general examination and topical examination was conducted using the naked eye, the hand, and a stethoscope. Some analyzes and diseases affecting the respiratory system were also discussed.
The workshop aims to discover any early disease symptoms and confirm possible diseases, which helps start early treatment and increase the chances of a full recovery, avoid any serious complications and identify any problems or risk factors that the patient suffers from that may cause diseases in the future.
