The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a field visit to the Al-Fayhaa Diabetes and Endocrine Center as part of the college's service project for the year 2022/2023.
The visit included the distribution of awareness brochures and dental cleaning kits, brushes, toothpaste and dental floss as gifts that have a positive impact on patients to encourage them to take care of oral and dental hygiene.
The visit aims to provide health, material and moral support for diabetics, which includes a comprehensive examination of the mouth and teeth for approximately 27 medical conditions, diagnosing the problems they suffer from, and scheduling appointments for their visits to educational clinics to receive appropriate treatments.
