The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a training workshop entitled (The Law of Futsal and Some Skills Exercises).
The workshop included an explanation of the laws of futsal. Futsal is one of the well-known and also famous sports in the world. It is close to the famous football, but it is played indoors, and the number of players per team does not exceed five, including the goalkeeper.
The workshop aims to explain how the match is conducted and its rules, as the number of players per team ranges from three to five players. The match is ruled by three referees, the court referee, and a referee who sits behind the table to manage the scoreboard for scoring goals, fouls, and runs, and a third referee who hands each administrator a time-out card.
Five-a-side football or futsal does not have an offside law. A direct free kick occurs in the event that a player commits a wrong action towards a player of the opposing team.
