The Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants Department at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion entitled (How to collect medicinal plants from the regions of northern Iraq in the city of Sulaymaniyah) with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The panel discussion included a lecture given by Assistant Professor Dr. Ola Muhammad Nour Al-Musawi, in which she presented the correct method of how to collect important medicinal plants in scientific research. Al-Musawi also showed the areas that were visited, which are the mountains and valleys in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, as well as the border areas separating Iraq and Iran in the north, where various species were collected.
