Lecturer Walaa Nassif, a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basra, published a research entitled Citrus Diseases Recognition by Using CNN Model in the Informatica Journal in Slovenia, with an impact factor of 2.688 and included in the Scopus containers.
The research included building an automated system for the classification of citrus diseases, where seven varieties of diseases affecting these plants that lead to their damage were selected, namely (anthracnose, brown rot, black spot, citrus canker, citrus scoop, melanosis, sooty mold). The aim of the research is to show that working with CNN networks gives great results, where it is possible here to try many measurements in order to obtain more accurate results and to use CNN neural networks to build an automated system to identify diseases that affect citrus, where the system identifies the disease through images that offer it
