The College of Dentistry University of Basrah conducted a field visit to Al-Jahiz School to provide health care for students and diagnose diseases of the mouth and teeth.
The medical team, consisting of fifth-year students, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Al-Moamen and Dr. Hussein Shakir, conducted an oral examination for the students and identified the problems of the mouth and teeth that some of them may suffer from.
Dr. Ahmed said that about 180 students were examined and some cases that required orthodontic treatment were diagnosed, and appointments were scheduled to receive them in educational clinics to receive appropriate treatment.
The team presented a number of copies of Al-Sinbad magazine, which suit the age ratio of the students and encourage them to read.
