Dr. Harith Abdul razzaq Hasan, a lecturer in Polymer research center, presented a lecturer, entitled “Properties of liquid crystal phases”. Various topics were discussed, including occurrence of transition to liquid crystal phase, classification based on the molecular alignment and studying anisotropic in physical properties as a result of the molecular shape of liquid crystal.
