A panel discussion at the College of Education for Human Sciences at Basra University discussed (the resources of the historical narration of the owners of the Imam Musa bin Jaafar School, peace be upon him, and their role in preserving the Mohammedan heritage)
The researcher (Taqah Abboud Mohsen) said that the research aims to clarify the role of Imam al-Kadhim Musa, peace be upon him, in establishing the Ressali School, to be one of the main steps with which he faced the Abbasid authority, as well as assigning his companions to the tasks of the missionary movement, which led to the emergence of their role distinctively. In all fields, especially in the scientific and cognitive field, they devoted their efforts to serving the Islamic religion and upholding the word of truth through their narration of hadith and jurisprudential issues, as well as their role in confronting sectarian sects and intellectual deviations.
The message included a set of chapters and main axes summarized as follows: Chapter One: The Era of Imam Al-Kadhim PBUH and its impact on the crystallization of companionship: In it we dealt with a set of topics, the most important of which are the challenges of the Abbasid authority and its political measures against Imam al-Kadhim, peace be upon him, in drawing up his policy To confront the Abbasid authority, which enabled him to continue the work of spreading the teachings of heaven and his missionary movement assigned to it. As for the second chapter, we dealt with the geographical location and its impact on the emergence and development of companionship, in which we explained: environmental influences and their repercussions in the emergence of companionship, as well as how the companions of Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) spread in Islamic cities and regions. Scientific and intellectual between Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) and his companions. It included several resources, the most important of which were accountability, writing, listening and speaking, as well as vision and meeting. The fourth chapter contributed to explaining the scientific and cognitive impact of the companions of Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) and their role in preserving the Mohammedan heritage. By employing their efforts in several matters, including the sciences of the Qur’an and interpretation. And their narration of hadith and doctrinal and jurisprudential matters, as well as the emergence of the historical novel. We also discussed in this chapter the most important scientific works that they composed as an important part of preserving the Mohammedan heritage. While we referred to the distinguished role of the companions of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) in confronting ideological differences and deviations.
