The College of Dentistry University of Basrah conducted a field visit to the Abeer Center for Autism as one of the regulations of the College of Dentistry's medical service project for the academic year 2022/2023.
The team, consisting of a group of specialized dentists and a number of fifth-grade students, provided health support to the children of the center by examining and diagnosing 75 case and provided the proper medical treatment for them.
The team delivered awareness and guidance lectures for the workers in the center, as well as direct contact with the parents, urging them and educating them to pay attention to the hygiene and oral and dental health of the children.
The team handed gifts and toys to the children to put a smile on their faces and encourage them to take care of the health and hygiene of the mouth and teeth.
