The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah organized an intellectual symposium on (University Student Between Specialization and General Knowledge).
The lecture presented by the investigator, Mr. Sami Al-Badri, dealt with many important matters that the university student benefits from in his specialization and excels in university life, including the issue of persistence and patience in acquiring science and constantly updating his scholarly culture, as well as raising morale and looking positively at reality, and he showed that the Iraqi people, especially the university student, have capabilities and great energies that qualify him to lead the whole world and not only to lead his people.
He also explained the necessity of honoring outstanding students on an ongoing basis to be an incentive for them and other students for creativity and excellence.
