The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah conducted a field visit to the specialized center for tumors and blood diseases to examine and diagnose pathological conditions related to the mouth and teeth.
The health team provided health and moral support to the patients in the center, examined about 23 sick cases, and set appointments for the patients for the purpose of reviewing the educational clinics affiliated with the college to receive appropriate treatment. The team also gave awareness and guidance lectures to the patients on how to take care of the mouth and teeth.
The team recommended the necessity of having a dentist in the center to follow up on diseases related to the mouth and teeth and treat them at an early stage.
