The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah conducted a field visit to Abeer Center for Autism within the service project of the College of Dentistry for the year 2022/2023.
The team, which consisted of a group of specialized dentists and a number of fifth-stage students, provided health support to the children of the center by examining and diagnosing 75 cases and providing appropriate treatment.
The team delivered awareness and guidance lectures for the workers in the center, as well as direct contact with the parents, urging them and educating them to pay attention to the hygiene and health of the mouth and teeth for children.
The team distributed gifts and toys to the children to draw a smile on their lips and encourage them to take care of the health and hygiene of the mouth and teeth.
