The Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, organized a visit to the Hereditary Blood Diseases Hospital, in which a number of third-stage students participated, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rashid Abd Rashid Al-Sharifi, and Dr. Salem Jassem Al-Jumaili.
The organizers of the visit sought to provide moral support to the diseased children, and to present some gifts to sow the spirit of hope and healing among the sick children, amid the welcome of the patients and staff, wishing them a speedy recovery, God willing.
