Under the supervision of the Head of the Department of History, Dr. Najat Abdul-Karim Abdul-Sada, the Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah held an introductory symposium for students of the first stage for the academic year 2022-2023, with the aim of introducing the controls and instructions for students, and the examination mechanism in the hall of the History Department / College of Arts.
The workshop, in which Prof. Dr. Shaker Majeed and Dr. Nahla Abbar lectured, included many topics, the most important of which are: the examination system, uniform controls, absences, the issue of postponement, transportation and hosting, and the nature of the relationship between students themselves and between students and their professors, and the symposium also dealt with the importance of staying away of everything that provokes others and methods that are rejected in the university community, such as electronic extortion.
