The College of Science in the Department of Mathematics discussed a seminar entitled Thermal Convection with a Navier-Stokes-Voigt Fluid for postgraduate student Dua`a Zuhair. The seminar aims to produce the derivative of critical Rayleigh number for stationary and oscillatory convection analytically and investigate the effect of the salt Rayleigh number, Kelvin-Voigt parameter, prandtl and prandtl salt parameters on the onset of convection.
