Higher diploma research in the Department of Ecology at the College of Science at the University of Basrah discussed the effect of salinity on the growth, nutrition and blood composition of juvenile common carp (Cyprinus carpio L) in a closed system.
The research included the postgraduate student - higher diploma, Yasmine Qasim Abdel-Reza, the salty tongue, its causes and damages, and the blood physiology of young female carps.
The research aims to identify the increase in the levels of the influence of salt on the rate of food intake, growth rates and blood physiology of carp fish cultured in the laboratory.
