
The University of Basrah and the Iraqi Federation of Industries, the Basra Chamber of Industry and its formations, signed a memorandum of joint cooperation in the scientific and cultural fields and the exchange of experiences, as the agreement was signed by the President of the University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the Chamber’s Director, Mr. Abdul Hussain Kadhim Aboud.
The two sides agreed to attract research owners for the purpose of incubating them within supporting projects and converting them from paper to reality, and to provide facilities and capabilities for the purpose of investing ideas, as well as exploiting laboratories and capabilities of companies to serve scientific research and to hold joint workshops, courses and exhibitions.
The two parties emphasized cooperation in the completion of joint work in the fields of manufacturing industries through the advisory offices of the university, as well as the exchange of researchers and academic visits in order to achieve scientific sobriety.
The President of the University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, mentioned that there will be summer training for students of the third stage and students of projects in institutions and companies according to the required specializations, with the addition of an employment platform on the website of the Basra Chamber of Industry.
