The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the way to choose the appropriate journal to publish your research.
The aim of the workshop is to get acquainted with the good journal within the scientific classifications and how to choose a journal in order to publish our research within these journals commensurate with the scope of the selected journal.
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Alaa Karim Naima, included identifying international publishing houses, journals that contain impact factors, electronic links that are used in choosing the journal within publishing houses, and the time period that the research needs for publication.
In the end, the recommendation was that care should be taken in choosing the appropriate journal for scientific research, as it is the basis for the publishing process.
