The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah organized a training course in the art of radio broadcasting, with the participation of students and media unit officials.
The course, which was moderated by the journalist and broadcaster Abbas Al-Zarkani, included practical exercises in diction, methods of choosing a successful broadcaster, the difference between a broadcaster and a program presenter, and the characteristics of a distinguished broadcaster. As well as preparing the program with tests in delivering the newscast and writing the program script.
The Director of the Cultural Center, Dr. Haider Saleh Dasher, stated that the center is implementing an integrated plan aimed at advancing the cultural, scientific and literary reality of the city, as well as striving to develop the talents and skills of young people by benefiting from the experiences of creative energies in all fields.
