Under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Majed Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, our college organized an inspection visit to the Children’s Specialist Hospital for children with cancer in Basra. Ali from the college media unit, with the participation of college students for all stages.The visit aimed to see the conditions of children with cancer, stand by them, raise their spirits, and add joy and happiness to them.Where a field visit took place to the hospital, which includes a number of children with cancer and blood diseases from Basra Governorate and a number of governorates in southern Iraq. During the visit, gifts and some financial grants were presented to them, which encourages the need to provide volunteer work that can serve this category of sick children. .The assistant teacher, Iman Taha, one of the professors accompanying the team, stated that the visit was among the continuous and supportive activities that the college carries out to the Basra Specialized Children's Hospital to provide some medical and treatment materials, as well as provide psychological support and gifts for sick children.
On his part, Assistant Professor Dr. Majed Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, Dean of the College, affirmed the college's intention to continue visits and provide support for children with cancer diseases to stand by them and raise their spirits.
