The continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra
organized an online
workshop about administrative leadership.
The aims of the workshop, which is part of the leadership skills course, are to enlighten the focus
on the most prominent concepts, characteristics, and modern instructions to the administrative leadership supported by realistic examples, and to acquaint the course participants with the skills and leadership capabilities necessary to carry out their work, tasks, and accomplish the efficient and effective way
The workshop which was presented by Dr. Abbas Abdel Hamid Abdel Abbas included the administrative leadership concept and its importance in organizations of all different kinds
and the detailed answer is clear and accurate with realistic examples of the following question:
Who is the leader? What is the role he plays towards the people who leads?
Alon with detailed answer with clearly realistic examples and the similarities and differences between leadership and management, management skills, their types and how to invest them by the managers. It also tackles the most characters and qualities that the leader possesses and presents
examples of influential leadership personalities of are obtained from the present and the past, and different environments and cultures.
At the end of the workshop, the presenter recommended that it is necessary to invest what the workshop has in the concepts, topics, and realistic examples contained in this workshop. in other means, should be embodiments this
in the field of work especially if we know that there are a good number of participants occupying or seeking to occupy great administrative positions in their field of work
