
The College of Administration and Economics / Qurna, in cooperation with the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Maysan, organized a symposium entitled (Blockchain Technology and its Financial and Administrative Applications) in the presence of faculty members and undergraduate students.
The symposium aimed to explain the concept and types of blockchain and its uses in the financial and administrative fields, as well as the future prospects for this technology.
The symposium, in which Dr. Riyad Diaa Al-Safou and Dr. Muhammad Ahmed from the University of Maysan, and the lecturer Ammar Imad Khalaf from the University of Basrah lectured, included an explanation of the nature of this technology, its different types, its pros and cons, as well as its various uses.
The symposium came out with several recommendations, including creating a legal and legislative environment that supports this technology and seeking to add it to the vocabulary of relevant study materials.
