The thesis dealt with identifying the research problem, which is summarized in answering the following question: What is the nature of the relationship between mental openness, moral identity and digital fitness?
The thesis aims to know the level of mental openness among university students, to know the level of moral identity among university students, to know the level of digital fitness among university students, and to identify the correlation between the three research variables (openness of mind, moral identity, and digital fitness) among university students.
The research reached the following conclusions:
1- Male and female university students enjoy a high level of mental openness, regardless of their academic level.
2- Students from the humanities majors are more open-minded than students from the scientific majors.
3- University students of both sexes have a high level of moral identity, which indicates moral awareness, regardless of the educational stage.
4- The university students from the scientific specialization have a higher level of moral identity compared to their peers from the human specialization.
5- The research sample of both sexes have a high level of digital fitness.
6- The students of the scientific specialization have higher digital fitness than the students of the humanities major, and the students of the fourth stage have more digital fitness than their peers of the second stage students.
7- There is a direct, positive, statistically significant relationship between mental openness, moral identity, and digital fitness among university students.
Based on these conclusions, the researcher came out with a set of recommendations, most notably:
1- Activating the role of psychological counseling in developing mental openness, moral identity and digital fitness.
2- Organizing training courses by a number of specialists in psychological counseling and psychology to develop mental openness and moral identity among university students, especially in light of the era of digital information and the technological revolution.
