The thesis dealt with a manuscript investigation in the science of morphology, which included an explanation of the book (Al-Wafiyah fi Nazam al-Shafiya morphology of Qawam al-Din al-Sayfi) and a study of what is related to the rhyme and the explainer from the name, lineage, teachers, students, and so on, then studying the explanation itself by verifying its title and its attribution to its author and its most important sources and evidence. The most important thing that distinguishes this explanation is the many issues of morphological dispute in it, and it ended with a statement of its scientific value.
The thesis aims to revive the manuscript heritage of Arabic scholars by publishing this book on the science of Arabic conjugation, as intended by its author, or close to that, to be a scientific text that represents a source to which scholars and specialists refer.
The thesis concluded that this book is one of the important morphological books with its accuracy and clarity in its explanation of the subject of morphology from the book Al-Wafiyyah in the Systems of the Department of morphology from Shafia Ibn al-Hajib, in addition to the interest of its commentator in presenting issues of morphological disagreement and weighting between the opinions of scholars.
The thesis recommended the need to pay attention to the investigation of manuscripts and to bring out the legacy of previous scholars. Because of what it contains of the nation’s heritage and because it represents a rich and important scientific material in the sciences of Arabic in general, and in the science of morphology in particular.
