The Department of Geology at the College of Science organized a panel discussion entitled (Analysis of petrophysical characteristics and determination of flow units for the Zubair reservoir in the southern Rumaila field, southern Iraq). The seminar, in which the researcher Heba Ahmed Hanoun lectured, aimed at the petrophysical and statistical analysis of the petrophysical properties and determination of the flow units of the upper sand member of the Zubair Formation in the southern Rumaila field.
The study included eight wells distributed in the southern Rumaila field to analyze and interpret the petrophysical properties, identify the reservoir units, conduct the statistical analysis of the petrophysical properties and the cluster analysis of the upper sand member based on the well probes and determine the flow units of the reservoir.
