Under the auspices of the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdul-Baqi Mahmoud, on Sunday 1-22-2023, the first educational courses in Microsoft Office, Word, Photoshop image processor, began on Sunday 22-1-2023 in the college building. As part of the series of courses that the college has set up for free to serve different groups of society, these courses will continue in the coming weeks, God willing, to complete the Office programs and include technical courses to teach the basics of carpentry and electricity as well, noting that these courses contribute effectively to community service and rehabilitation of youth energies.
