The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on administrative leadership.
The aim of the workshop is to shed light in a concentrated manner on the most prominent concepts, characteristics, and modern trends of administrative leadership, supported by realistic examples in order to provide the participants in the course with the skills and leadership capabilities necessary to carry out their work and tasks, and to accomplish them in an efficient and effective manner.
The lecture presented by Dr. Abbas Abdel Hamid Abdel Abbas included the concept of administrative leadership and its importance in organizations of all kinds. As well as the similarities and differences between leadership and management, administrative skills, their types and how to invest them by managers, and the most prominent qualities, and examples of the influential leadership personality drawn from the present and the past, and from different environments and cultures.
